John Walsom has been producing architectural perspectives and watercolour illustrations for over twenty years. After qualifying as an architect in 1982, he spent five years working in theatre design in several countries, for Theatre Projects Consultants and the Arts Team at RHWL. Subsequently he became a professional architectural photographer. Since 1990 he has focussed on producing illustrations which have helped to promote built schemes for many of the most successful names in British design. He can set up 3D images from plans and elevations, or from loose design concepts.

The finished paintings are works of art in their own right - clients like to frame and keep his architectural perspectives. He is used to deadlines and approaches all commissions in a professional and businesslike way. He is a member of the Association of Illustrators and the Society of Architectural Illustration, and tries to be as much fun to work with as possible. The studio is in Kingston Upon Thames, 30 minutes from central London.
